This project involved designing and simulating an inter-building network by configuring routers, switches, PCs, and servers, applying subnetting and static routing to enable communication between two separate LANs.
The project strengthened practical understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and routing, while highlighting the importance of accurate configuration and troubleshooting in ensuring reliable network connectivity.
Future improvements include implementing dynamic routing, VLANs, DHCP, and basic security features to enhance scalability, efficiency, and real-world applicability of the network design.
